A few weeks ago I ran into a friend at the grocery store and chatted for a bit before she asked if she could put my daughter "on call" for the next Friday as she was going to be doing some maternity photos for a friend and might be in need of a babysitter. I happily agreed (her little is so adorable and my daughter loves to hang out with him!) and we went on our way. As I got in the van to head home, I thought "why didn't I offer to do the photography?" so I messaged my friend and offered to do the maternity session for her friend,..and I'm so glad I did.
This sweet mamma to be shared a bit with me about her journey to motherhood and it hasn't been easy. If there was a mom who would treasure the precious memories I was providing, it would be this mom.
We started out at their home photographing Mamma and Daddy and Grandma in the perfectly pink nursery. There is no question, this little girl will be showered with all the love her family has to offer her. We looked through her closet, which is PACKED with adorable outfits and her mamma showed us her large dresser drawer full of shoes. Little Missy will be styling!
After a while we headed to Point Defiance Park for the second set of our session. Our arrival was a bit eventful, which you can read about here, but the rest of our session was lovely. The beach was the perfect backdrop and we couldn't have asked for a nicer evening! It was a pleasure photographing this sweet mamma to be and her fantastic hubby and mom. I'm looking forward to meeting their little one when she makes her debut.
